Accelerating Mapping with Distributed Processing
SimActive Inc. announces that distributed processing in SimActive’s Correlator3D™ enables photogrammetry workflows to be executed across multiple PCs (or VMs) instead of relying on a single node. By distributing computational tasks among available systems, large datasets can be processed more efficiently and within shorter timeframes.
Distributed processing improves overall throughput while preserving the accuracy and consistency required for production mapping.
This capability applies to key photogrammetry stages, including aerial triangulation, dense point cloud generation and orthophoto production. As project size, image resolution or coverage area increases, processing resources can be scaled by adding machines, allowing organizations to maintain predictable turnaround times.
Distributed processing improves overall throughput while preserving the accuracy and consistency required for production mapping. It supports organizations handling high data volumes, time-sensitive projects and demanding operational environments.
