SimActive Supports Remote Environmental Mapping Operations in Hawaii
SimActive announces that its Correlator3D™ software was used by Air Data Solutions (ADS) to process aerial imagery collected over Kaula Island, Hawaii, in support of environmental monitoring activities conducted for the U.S. Navy. The project involved mapping a remote and environmentally sensitive location using advanced airborne sensors and photogrammetric workflows.
“Correlator3D allowed us to manage large datasets efficiently while maintaining the accuracy required for environmental monitoring applications.”
Air Data Solutions conducted aerial surveys in challenging operational conditions, including restricted airspace and difficult terrain. Using Correlator3D, ADS processed large volumes of high-resolution imagery to generate accurate geospatial outputs supporting wildlife monitoring and environmental analysis.
“Remote mapping projects like Kaula Island require careful coordination, reliable acquisition systems and efficient data processing,” said Don Cummins of Air Data Solutions. “Correlator3D allowed us to manage large datasets efficiently while maintaining the accuracy required for environmental monitoring applications.”
